We are so happy that you are interested in coming to volunteer with us at BIG Heart Ranch. Our volunteer program includes one hour of cleaning and caring for our animals, as well as, an hour of spending quality time with your favorite animals. It is important that we are mindful of our animals basic daily needs and to provide them with a safe and happy environment. So, thank you again for your desire to join us for a hard working, yet fun-filled volunteer session.
What you’ll do:
Animal care: Assist with our animals daily needs, including tasks such as cleaning pens, grooming, and exercising.
Earth care: Connect to the natural world while beautifying our Intention garden. and assisting with property clean-up tasks.
People care: Help support us during our various conscious community events.
We are different than your typical petting zoo and some of our animals roam freely about the property. With this in mind, we want to ensure the safety of all of our visitors/animals and require that all volunteers attend a Volunteer Orientation. During the 2 hour orientation, you will become acquainted with our animals and property while learning about the various volunteer duties to be completed. It is required that all volunteers are aged 14 and older due to the nature of the duties needing to be completed.

***Please be mindful that we are a working ranch and it may take up to 24-48 hours for us to respond. All visitors/volunteers must make an appointment with a staff member prior to visiting the ranch.***
