Located along the Pacific Coast Highway below the hills of Malibu, California, BIG Heart Ranch welcomes families and individuals from all walks of life regardless of age, origin, race, religion, or resources.
BIG Heart Ranch is a safe, supportive, and empowering place for people to reconnect to their natural wisdom so that we all may learn to live in harmony with nature and each other. We provide physical and emotional support and connection to humans and rescued farm animals through facilitated experiential and educational interactions.
RESCUE
For nearly 20 years BIG Heart Ranch has been dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of neglected or displaced farm animals and is presently a forever home to over 50.
RENEW
Our animal residents have provided life-changing growth and healing connective experiences to thousands of individuals and families from underserved communities.
RECONNECT
Our volunteer community understands the transformative effects of being in nature and being of service. We’re accepting volunteers to help with daily care of the herd and garden.
